Spark incubation project wins top award!

Spark spin-off project “Mindings” was one of five tech start-ups who emerged as winners of the Cambridge Wireless Discovering Start-Ups 2011 competition on 8th December..

At the final pitching event twenty competitors presented in front of a packed Cambridge University Queens College theatre, judged by senior representatives from companies including Microsoft, RIM, Nokia, Qualcomm Ventures, Innovacom, Broadcom, Orange, O2 Telefonica and ARM. The other worthy winners were Advanced Balance Systems, Blu Wireless, Qiqqa and Proxama.

Mindings is Spark’s latest venture.

We regularly keep in touch with our friends with text messages, email, tweets, picture messages… If only we could keep in touch with our less tech-savvy family so simply.

Mindings is a service that enables people to send personal, captioned photos, text messages, calendar reminders and much more to a digital photo frame: instantly from their mobile phone.  Mindings connects families by enabling effortless, regular, personal, and meaningful contact.
